Leading electronics firm, Exsel Electronics, based on the Wales/England border, is enjoying on-going growth at the start of 2020, thanks to securing a new contract with some of the top names in technology and defence.

Exsel Electronics with its headquarters at Buttington, near Welshpool, is now working in collaboration with Nexor, Thales, IBM and QinetiQ.

Fleur Phillips, Project Manager at Exsel Electronics, said: “We are pleased to announce that we are working with Nexor, Thales, IBM and QinetiQ, to deliver an asset protection project, using networked sensors, with other systems.

"This project focuses on developing an environment that gathers and integrates information from remote sensors, and distributes any intelligence found to other systems. This builds on theoretical work already undertaken by Nexor.

“Exsel will be building on this theoretical work, providing expertise in integration, GVA, Morpheus EvO, and LOSA COIL, to provide an assessment of those technologies.

“Exsel will also be working to understand the benefits of using Rapid Integration.”

Keith Hughes, Exsel’s Director, said they welcome this work, and how it helps to expand their portfolio and members of staff.

This is the latest project Exsel has been engaged in as part of the CSIIS framework. Exsel’s continued growth is based on its successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
