Exsel Electronics can design body-mounted sensors and integrate existing ones into networks, using appropriate wireless communication technologies to do so. We used LOSA COIL to integrate a Bodytrak ear-mounted health monitor into a military field communications application, and we have worked on foot-mounted accelerometers (for measuring gait), non-GPS personnel location technologies (e.g. for indoor applications) and body-mounted cameras. This could be applied to the civilian sector such as the blue light industry. An example of the sensor technology application would be using police body cameras to securely collect invaluable evidence and improve the safety for frontline workers and assisting the legal system.
